So far, the 32-year-old Swede and Lausanne HC have not had any discussions about a contract extension.

Jonas Junland: Back to Sweden?

"In this business, it means what it means," Jonas Junland says to Jérôme Reynard (Sport-Center). As he is sure that he will thus leave Lausanne HC at the end of the season, he is already thinking about his next destination: "It will be a family choice." Apparently, a return to his youth team Linköping is an option, the same source reports.

Lausanne's team manager Jan Alston did not want to comment about the matter, when asked about it by Reynard. Whereas Dustin Jeffrey ((CAN)) and Jonas Junland ((SWE)) are set to leave the club, LHC want to keep defenseman Petteri Lindbohm ((FIN)) on board. Forward Cory Emmerton ((CAN)) has a valid contract until 2021.
