As the contract of the 24-year-old Slovakian forward with the Boston Bruins expires, a return to Europe seems to be likely.

"He is interested in returning to Europe and playing there next season," Peter Cehlárik's agent Louis Liesch confirms in an interview with HockeyNews.se. "We are looking at everything really: Switzerland, Russia, and Sweden."

Whereas Cehlárik does not seem to have a preference about where to play next, the Covid-19 pandemic is holding clubs back at the moment: "It's difficult to sign a contract right now," Liesch explains. "At the same time, he is not the cheapest player."

Peter Cehlárik has been part of the Boston Bruins' organization for the past four seasons. He appeared in 40 games on the NHL level, in which he recorded eleven points (five goals). For the AHL's Providence Bruins he suited up 194 times (62 goals, 78 assists).
