According to Klaus Zaugg (Watson), the defenseman will stay in the capital city until the end of his contract in 2023.

Calle Andersson has an out clause in his contract with SC Bern which he can make use of until mid-December. According to Zaugg, he will, however, honor his deal with the Bears and stay.

The Berner Zeitung reported earlier this week that EV Zug might be an option, especially with Raphael Diaz leaving the team. However, this seems now to be out of the question.

Speaking of the former NHL defenseman, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's team manager Christian Dubé was not willing to confirm the deal to Zaugg, stating that the rumor about the four-year deal was fabricated by 4sports (player's agency).

He also implied that he would not have the money to sign him by stating that they will have to decrease their budget by CHF 1 million next season. It thus remains to be seen whether Diaz will end up there or not, he will, however, definitely not play in Zug next season.
