After being linked to HC Lugano a couple of days ago, it seems now that EHC Biel would be in pole position for the race to acquire Gaëtan Haas, if he would choose to leave the NHL and return to Switzerland. Haas' contract with the Edmonton Oilers is expiring at the end of the season.
This season, the 29-year-old has appeared in 33 games for the Edmonton Oilers so far, in which he put up three points (two goals).
