After failing to qualify for the Swiss League playoffs with HCV Martigny, defender Virgile Thévoz and forward Léonardo Fuhrer will continue playing for Lausanne HC, going the same direction as Benjamin Bougro, Matthias Mémeteau, and Nicolas Perrenoud, who were all under contract with Lausanne HC but mostly played on loan to HCVM.
Thevoz, 24, was already part of Lausanne HC's roster last season, however he mostly suited up on loan to EHC Winterthur. This season, he collected six points in 39 games with Martigny.
For his part, Fuhrer just finished the best season of his career stats-wise. In 45 games with Martigny, he scored 33 goals and recorded 24 assists. The 30-year-old led the Swiss League in goals and was second overall in points, behind EHC Basel's Jakob Stukel.
