American forward Ryan Hayes has signed a new one-year deal, Swedish forward Victor Backman stays for two more years.

Confirmed: Victor Backman stays with the GCK Lions.

What the Tages-Anzeiger already reported two weeks ago is now confirmed: The GCK Lions can also in the future count on their current import-duo. Victor Backman ((SWE), 27) and Ryan Hayes ((USA), 29) have both extended their contracts with the Lions.

"Ryan Hayes and Victor Backman have always proven their value to our team," GCK's team manager Patrick Hager says. "They are important pillars for our young team."

This season, Backman suited up in 23 games for GCK (34 points) and in 16 games for the ZSC Lions (eleven points). Hayes appeared in 43 games for GCK (45 points) and also suited up for ZSC in five games of the placement round (two points).
