Single judge lifts game misconduct against Rockets' Giona Bionda

The forward was penalized too harshly during the matchup between the HCB Ticino Rockets and EHC Winterthur last Sunday.

Bionda was issued a game misconduct for a hit to the head which was interpreted as having caused an injury. The single judge has lifted that misconduct against the 22-year-old, his team announced. This means Bionda will not be automatically suspended if he is penalized with another game misconduct.
