The two players have been cut from their respective NHL training camp roster and will start the season in the American Hockey League.

Tobias Geisser
EV Zug

The Washington Capitals have assigned Tobias Geisser to the Hershey Bears, for which he already suited up last season. The 20-year-old defender, who went through the youth organization of EV Zug, has recorded one assist in 47 AHL games so far.

As for Gilles Senn, the New Jersey Devils have sent the 23-year-old goaltender to their AHL affiliate team in Binghamton. It will be Senn's very first season in North America after spending the last eight years in the organization of HC Davos.
