The NHL has fined Nino Niederreiter.

The NHL Department of Player Safety has fined Nino Niederreiter with 5'000 dollars, the maximum allowable. The incriminated action occurred in the first period of yesterday's game between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Nashville Predators and cost Niederreiter a minor penalty.
