Fabrice Herzog and Dario Simion (EV Zug) will also start practising with the Swiss as of this week. Their arrival was announced last week. Tanner Richard, for his part, is back after a week of absence.

Sandro Aeschlimann, Tim Berni, Simon Le Coultre, and Valentin Nussbaumer, on the other hand, will have to leave the national team. The same applies to André Heim, albeit due to an injury.

Akira Schmid, Jonas Siegentaler, and Nico Hischier of the New Jersey Devils, and Philipp Kurashev (Chicago Blackhawks) are set to join for week 4. The SIHF did not provide an update regarding Timo Meier, but Patrick Fischer told Keystone-SDA last week that Meier might have to undergo shoulder surgery and if that were the case, he would not be available to the team.

In the same interview, Fischer said that Lian Bichsel is not on their radar for now, as he "did not help out the U20 national team for the second time."
