From LHC to LHC - Brian Gibbons to play for Linköping?

The 33-year-old forward's contract with Lausanne HC expired at the end of last season.

According to Expressen, Brian Gibbons will suit up for Linköping HC next season. However, the SHL team's team manager Niklas Persson is not willing to comment on the report of the Swedish news outlet. He did, however, confirm that they are looking to add two forwards to the roster.

Gibbons played his first season outside of North America for Lausanne HC. In 46 regular-season games, he recorded eleven goals and 22 assists. In the playoffs, he added two assists in six games to his tally.
