As Le Nouvelliste reported from HC Sierre's first on-ice practice this season, Goran Bezina was unable to be on the ice due to a calf-injury. He should be ready to go again in about ten days. For now, the 40-year-old will not miss any official practices, as the club from the Valais postponed their preparation.
There were a few junior players attending said first skate. Head coach Dany Gélinas states that, despite the roster being full for now, there might be the need for additional members, depending on how the new season is going to look.
