Medical Report

The 24-year-old defenseman had to quit Thursday's game against SC Bern after 34 minutes of play.

Not seriously injured: Yannick Rathgeb.

After he received a check to the head halfway through the game, Yannick Rathgeb left the ice and did not return. As the Bieler Tagblatt reports, he was not seriously injured in the incident, but sustained a wound in the mouth area, which had to be stitched up.

With 32 points (ten goals) in 49 games in the past regular season, Rathgeb was EHC Biel's most productive defenseman.
