Jérôme Bonnet decided in January to leave La Chaux-de-Fonds after seven years. In his final season with HCC, the 31-year-old was their captain. His contract with his future team, HC Saint-Imier in the first league, includes an out-clause for the Swiss League.
Over the course of his career, Bonnet has played a total of 626 games in the Swiss League, in which he scored 130 goals and added 169 assists. He also appeared in 91 games for Genève-Servette HC in the National League (four goals, three assists).
