Daniel Brodin signed a four-year contract with the Swedish team back in January. According to Pierre Schouwey (La Liberté), Brodin will honor his contract despite the team having been relegated.
Brodin appeared in 46 regular-season games for HC Fribourg-Gottéron this season, recording ten goals and nine assists. In the playoffs, he has not put his name on the score sheet yet.
