Lasis spent the last five years at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, playing for their hockey team in the USports women's league. In 128 appearances for them, she put up seven goals and 44 assists.

The 24-year-old is an offensive blueliner and supposed to help with the ZSC Lions' playmaking.

"It has always been a dream of mine to play in an elite women's league in Europe. I was never able to travel as a student because of long and busy hockey seasons, so I am very excited to live overseas and play the game I love! I have never been to Switzerland, but have heard it is a beautiful and lively country from my mother, who lived here briefly, as a young adult. I have only heard good things about the ZSC Lions, as my university coach played here some years ago, too. I can't wait to be living in the centre of Europe and absorbing the art and culture, while also helping to grow the sport of women's hockey internationally", Lasis is quoted on the Lions' website.
