As EHC Biel's head coach tells the Journal du Jura, the Finnish forward arrived yesterday and will join the team today.

The 24-year-old winger joins Biel from Ässät Pori from the Finnish Liiga and is going to stay in the Seeland until the end of the season. "If everything is okay, he will play for us on Tuesday against Geneva," Törmänen states. Maybe, Kärki will remain with Biel even longer: "If this works out in the upcoming weeks, he might become a solution for the next season."

"He is a big guy," Törmänen explains to the same source. "He is also a scorer, scoring 17 goals this season in the Liiga, the Finnish top division. In addition to his good shot, he protects the puck well."

EHC Biel is Kärki's first team abroad. Over the course of his career he has only ever played for his youth club Ässät Pori, apart from 19 games with Tappara Tampere in the 2017-18 season.
