The forward of Fribourg-Gottéron has put his signature under a two-year deal with the Lakers.

What Sport-Center already reported two days ago is now confirmed: Lukas Lhotak, 26, will become a Laker at least for the upcoming two seasons, until 2022. "Lukas brings an enormous amount of energy into the game and thus fits perfectly into our game concept," Rapperswil's team manager Janick Steinmann says.

Since summer 2018, Lhotak has suited up for HC Fribourg-Gottéron. In 75 championship games for the Dragons, he recorded 21 points (15 goals). This season, he has been on the ice for 12:47 minutes per game on average.
