National League

According to a report from La Liberté, the 25-year-old has already found a new home in the National League for next season.

Aurélien Marti is set to leave Fribourg.

"Aurélien Marti will probably not be back with us next season," head coach and team manager Christian Dubé more or less confirms the news that Marti has decided to leave HC Fribourg-Gottéron after this season. The defenseman himself did not want to comment on his current situation nor confirm reports that he already has signed with another team from the National League.

The 25-year-old defenseman joined the Dragons this summer, after having played mainly for the Swiss League's SC Langenthal for the past two years. This season so far, Aurélien Marti has recorded two points (one goal) in 26 games with HCFG.
