Adrien Lauper's contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron has not yet been extended. Retirement is, however, not an option for the 32-year-old.

Quo vadis, Adrien Lauper?

"We'll see," Lauper says to the Freiburger Nachrichten when asked if he is going to stay with HC Fribourg-Gottéron. The forward explains that there have been only one or two short talks with team manager Christian Dubé so far, "but nothing concrete".

At the beginning of January, Dubé explained to La Liberté that he is definitely not going to extend with both Adrien Lauper and Tristan Vauclair, "but maybe one of them". Up to this point, both are still without a contract for the upcoming season.

Retirement, however, is definitely not an option for Adrien Lauper. "I feel good and want to play for at least two or three more years," he says to the Freiburger Nachrichten. Asked if there have been contacts with other clubs, Lauper says with a wink: "I don't know."
