In addition, we want continuity at the HCD in the most important positions so that the predefined sports strategy of forming a new strong core with young Swiss players can be further advanced. This is how the HCD wants to build on the great successes of the past in the future", HC Davos' CEO Marc Gianola comments the extension.
"I am grateful to the HCD for giving me this chance as head coach two years ago as a young Swiss coach. Now, with the core of the team and all the new signings, many of whom I already know from the U20 national team, we can build a new strong team with Swiss leaders. I am very much looking forward to this task", head coach Wohlwend himself states.
