From next Monday until the end of the season, Stefan Mair will reportedly coach EHC Kloten. As Klaus Zaugg writes, the 56-year-old Italian has already left his job as head coach of the U20 squad of HC Ambrì-Piotta, which he took over at the beginning of this season. In Kloten, the former head coach of HC Thurgau would replace Larry Mitchell.
Mitchell, team manager of EHC Kloten, has been working also as interim head coach since the firing of Gerry Fleming in mid-November. At the moment, it is not clear whether Mitchell will keep his job as team manager or will leave the club.
