The Canadian's contract is running out at the end of the season and negotiations went nowhere.

When the current season is done, the number of Jonathan Angs that EHC Kloten will have is: none. Talks about an extension were had, as the club states, but they were not able to get through the finishing gates. Thus, after being a member of Kloten for two years, Ang is going to bid farewell to his peers.

Last autumn, there was a rumor about the Canadian joining EHC Biel next season, however, their team manager Martin Steinegger denied that within reason.

Ang collected 20 goals and 29 assists during his first year wearing Kloten's dress, and even though there was a bit of a recess, with ten goals and 16 assists, he still sits atop the team-intern list, nevertheless.
