Whereas only details remain to be resolved between EHC Visp and Mark Van Guilder, Troy Josephs wants to keep his options open.

"Only little things are missing," EHC Visp's team manager Bruno Aegerter says in an interview with the Walliser Bote about the current state of affairs in his contract negotiations with American forward Mark Van Guilder. Aegerter is positive that an agreement between the two parties could be reached.

To keep his second import-player, Canadian forward Troy Josephs, might, however, be trickier: "We have offered him a new contract before Christmas, but he still wants to wait," Aegerter says in another interview with Le Nouvelliste. "You know, he's young and dreams of other championships, especially in Northern Europe."

Before the 25-year-old has to take a decision, he might even get a chance to play with HC Davos, who has secured Josephs' B-license in view of the playoffs. "If the opportunity should arise, I'll do everything I can to seize it," Josephs says to Le Nouvelliste.
