While Gauthier Desclux has recovered and was with the team for their first on-ice practice of the preseason, Genève-Servette HC's head coach Pat Emond had to make do without five players. Jonathan Mercier, Marco Maurer, Simon Le Coultre, Tanner Richard as well as Giancarlo Chanton are all still dealing with injuries. However, they should all be ready for the start of the season.
