EHC Kloten is in need of a new coach for the coming season. One possible candidate, were he on the market, would be Christian Wohlwend. The 46-year-old's future with HC Davos is uncertain. However, Kloten's president states that the former junior national team coach would not join them. "A Swiss solution would be in our interest. But Christian Wohlwend will not be our new coach", he is quoted by Watson's Klaus Zaugg.
The same source also mentions that Kloten's cooperation with EHC Winterthur - who will remain part of the Swiss League - is going to be intensified.
